For the love of the horse. For the growth of the rider.
I have had a love for horses since a very young age and owned my own horses throughout my life since I was 18 years old. That’s over 40 years; it’s been quite a ride.
I have shared that love with many acquaintances, friends and my daughter. These experiences and memories are always special, and I never want to not share this part of my life with others.
I have studied, gotten certificates, diplomas, tried different trainers, methods etc., trained, bred, started and had relationships with many horses.
I am also a Certified Life Coach and Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner. These qualifications make how I share, instruct and teach horses & humans unique.
Over the years common barriers that show up in every human, horse combination is confidence and relationship, these two things affect the way we think, feel and act consistently for our horse. Anxiety and lacking confidence have a big impact on the relationship with your horse, it gets in the way of achieving what you want with your horse, regardless of whether that is competition, pleasure riding, or in hand showing etc.
Managing your mind, your emotions, your actions are as essential skills as any horse training skill and particularly when it comes to building confidence and relationship with your horse.
I offer confidence and relationship building 1:1 sessions and occasionally workshops for groups of up to 4 at a time. These skills can be learned and practiced whether you are with your horse or not, and whether you are on the ground or in the saddle.
book here for 1:1 or Please email hello@pampoole.co.nz to enquire about clinics. (I organise clinics once I have sufficient enquiries for it to be viable)
The rider’s mind, the horses mind, the rider’s body, the horses body.
Understanding the impact of each of these areas and the way they interplay any time we enter our horses’ space is essential to maximising our time, safety and training.
Together we look at how these four areas can be used, how to know which areas need attention, and what kind of attention. Once we know which area needs attention, we can target that to build the knowledge, understanding and application of skills that we as the human need to be with our horses in a way that builds a safe, and confident relationship and experience for both of you.
The first session is always the riders mind and we meet via zoom, from there a personalised path forward is collaboratively developed.
I am located between Burnham, Rolleston and Lincoln in the Selwyn District of Canterbury.
